Hurrah for Books
We are delighted to partner with Cheltenham Literature Festival this year to celebrate their 70th anniversary.
The world's first literature festival took place in Cheltenham in 1949 and closed with an event called 'Hurrah for Books'.
Our artists have been invited to paint on this theme and to interpret it however they want. We will be running a competition to find the best painting on the theme. Voting will be open once the artworks are completed on Sunday 8th September. Voting will close on the final day of Cheltenham Literature Festival which takes place 4th - 13th October.
Our locations page has been updated with the details of everywhere you can see our artworks, including the new locations for 2019. You can view the page, open the map using the button below, or pick up a printed maps from one of our volunteers at the event.
Following the event the maps will be available from various locations around the town including The Wilson.
