MEET THE TEAM
Andy ‘Dice’ Davies aka Dice Sixtyseven
ARTIST AND FOUNDER
After years of organising paint jams along the Honeybourne Line, and attracting big name artists to Cheltenham, Dice finally realised his dream of bringing a paint festival to the town.
As a seasoned paint festival artist himself, he knows what artists appreciate and is using this knowledge to turn the festival into a world class event that attracts the biggest names from across the world to paint in the town.
Andy has produced hand painted murals for the likes of Arsenal FC, Sky Arts and The Cheltenham Literature Festival and recently ran a live 2 hour show on #SkyVIP profiling the rise of graffiti and teaching viewers to come up with their own designs.
In 2019, Andy was invited to give a talk about the International nature of street art at the Museum of Vienna's Street Art Takeover.
Mark Lennon of
After running his own Building Company for 30 years, Mark yearned for a new challenge and I think we've met the brief! Mark is responsible for the Festival's Health and Safety, organising the essential scissor lifts, crowd barriers, and site set up and take down. Generally making sure everyone has a good time safely!
Event Production and Artist Liaison
Kate is a Freelance Producer, Curator & Writer with over 20 years experience working in the arts and events industry. She is the Arts Editor for Slap Magazine and Director of both Clik Clik (immersive live art experiences for events) and The Cabinet of Lost Secrets (bespoke live music & arts venue at Nozstock The Hidden Valley). Kate has been passionate about graffiti and street art for decades and in 2021, launches Worcester Paint Festival in partnership with Cheltenham Paint Festival. She keeps Andy sane with her banter and sharp humour!
Social Media and Communications
Our newest member of the team, Emma looks after the social media, artists bios and announcements, promoting the festival and giving everyone that essential flavour of the weekend! As Emma's experience grows so will the amount of work we get her to do!
Ali Glover aka Sweetheart Streetart
Volunteer Coordinator and Artist
After supporting the previous coordinator for the last 2 years, Ali stepped up to running this side of the business this year and did an incredible job! She has recruited and organised a crack team of superb volunteers that helped the festival run like clockwork. Artists and visitors alike praised the helpful, professional and courteous way the team rose to her challenge.
She also produced a wonderful piece for us too in between shifts!
With thanks to our volunteers
